Lucy LED Lamp
This lamp is intended for use where hands free illumination is required. Typically this would be used for car repair work under the bonnet.
The brief was to run from rechargable cells for 8 hours, give illumination in a 50 degree beam of sufficient light level for working in a low light level.
The housing would be robust and allow for 360 degree rotation.
The light source chosen was a high efficency 1 WATT LED with 50 degree lens fitted. For the housing we chose Nick Marchant Associates (MNA) to design the plastic parts. PACE and NMA have worked together very successfully on a number of products.
The resulting design met all the customers requirements.
